How To: Change Dates & Nightly Rates

4.7 To change booking dates

If a customer changes the dates they have booked for, you can easily update your booking record. To do this, first select the booking from the Retrieve Bookings list. This will display the Edit Booking screen, click EDIT Button next to room type..

To change the dates, simply alter the Date In and Date Out (and ETA, if required), and click the Save button. This will display updated booking information, including updated total amount.

You must then click Save to save the changes to the booking.
PLEASE BE AWARE: this function will currently allow you to double book dates! Please ensure the dates you are changing to are actually free before you make the change and save the booking.

4.8 To change the nightly rate for a booking

To change the nightly rate of an existing booking, you must edit the room details from the Edit Booking screen.

Selecting Edit will display the Edit Booking – Room Level screen. From this screen, you can enter a new nightly rate, change the dates, change the room type and number of adults / children. You can also enter additional info such as vehicle registration and guest names, and add an extras you’ve defined for your property to the booking.
 
Remember to click Save to see the effects of your changes, and click Save to save the change.
